Forrest kidOutdoor adventure for kids & teens. Nature provides an engaging and predictable setting for kids to try new activities and learn new skills. Focus on the task/activity assists socialization as participants share new experiences and work together. Physical activity and time in nature provides an important outlet and an opportunity for experiential learning. Activities include hiking, bush play, mountain bike riding, orienteering, abseiling and rock climbing.

Sessions start with a game or group challenge to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere. This is followed by a safety briefing and instruction for the activity to follow. Participants are encouraged to participate at a level they feel comfortable (‘challenge by choice’). Activities are adapted to suit each individual.
